Bridgewater, New Jersey
Georgetown University, George Washington University

I love Hoya basketball, cooking, and books (yes, I embrace being nerdy). The real stuff: I got my masters in education from The George Washington University, and now I am a third grade teacher in Fairfax Station, Virginia.

The bottom line is that I love teaching. And I love helping students to get over the SAT hurdle that stands between them and continuing their education. I had so much fun in college, and I want you to too!

Benjamin S.
Benjamin S.

Dumfries, VA
University of Delaware

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest before attending college at the University of Pittsburgh. I graduated from Pitt with an honors undergraduate degree in history and the history of art and architecture in 2001. I decided to pursue an M.A. and a Ph.D. in the history of technology and business at the University of Delaware. I completed my Ph.D. in the fall of 2008. While working on my graduate degrees, I served as a teaching assistant and an instructor for a wide variety of history courses. I enjoy teaching because I like to help students achieve their full academic potential

As a college instructor, I recognize the importance of the SAT in the college admissions process. A strong performance on the SAT will improve a student's chances of attending the college of his or her choice. Any student can improve his or her SAT scores with proper instruction, determination, and a committed teacher. Revolution Prep is focused on helping every student succeed by using innovative teaching methods and creative instructors. I support these goals and I am proud to serve as a teacher for Revolution Prep.

Andrea G.

Sonora, CA
UC Berkeley

I grew up in a small town in rural California. I left it as soon as possible to do my undergrad work at UC Berkeley. There I double majored in Sociology and Psychology. After graduation I joined the Peace Corps where I spent two years in the Middle East. I travelled around for a year or so more trying to renormalize before I found myself living in New York and applying to graduate programs. In the scant free time I have I am somewhat of a travel bug.

I believe that the SAT is a playing field that has to be leveled. My goal is to give the people I work with an edge going into what may be the most important test of their high school years.

Catonsville, MD
University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC)

Hey everybody! I've grown up in Maryland all my life, but my heart belongs in Trinidad where I was born. I actually visited there this past winter and fell in love with it all over again. I can't wait to travel after I am done school. Speaking of school, I am a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology undergraduate senior. I am a Meyerhoff scholar at UMBC pursuing pharmacy. Fingers crossed. I like to smile a lot, play sports, and hang out with friends. My favorite snacks include wintergreen lifesavers, popsicles, and aloo pies (trini snack). I love making lists: including my ultimate bucket list. You'll never catch me without my camera, and one day I hope to have one of those cool big black photographer cameras. Now I am just counting down the days until graduation!

Because they're the best. Simply put. I went through many prep courses when I was in high school (not that long ago) and their curriculum does not compare. It gives you the key skills to not only conquer the SATs, but to apply to general test-taking. I even used some of the skills when I took the PCATs, a SAT for pharmacy school! I also love to teach and help kids reach their dreams =)

Dislikes: brussel sprouts, calculus, and people who talk to you on the plane when you're trying to sleep.

Because...Hello! College is AMAZING and we all have to get through the SAT so that we can make it to the promised land ;o)

Wilton
Villanova University

I graduated from Villanova and immediately headed off to China for the year to live and breathe Chinese culture. I taught ESL at a Chinese primary school and traveled all over Southeast Asia and China. Nothing makes me happier than really good dumplings!

I teach for Rev Prep because these tests are such little things but doing well on them makes SUCH a difference. I love the attitude and approach Rev Prep takes because it makes everything so easy. And I love being part of the force that drives you to do well!
