Revolution's Online SAT Course combines innovative web-based tools with off-line materials to offer you the experience, impact, and results of a live course. It's like having a qualified Revolution tutor at your side whenever you want!
- engaging lessons
- interactive Mentor Sessions
- a personalized course plan
Multimedia Lessons ensure that students know all they need to in order to perform at their potential. Many feature video of our very best instructors, so it's like taking a live course, but on your own schedule.
Individually customized Mentor Sessions are generated based on practice test performance. They walk students through the problem-solving process for questions they've missed, exactly as a live tutor would, and offer immediate and relevant guidance in areas where students struggle.
Revolution's Online SAT Course tracks each student's areas for improvement, and generates more Assignments (Lessons and/or Mentor Sessions) to address those specific topics.
- our full set of live course materials
- realistic paper-based practice exams
- hundreds of paper-based practice problems
As effective as our online content is, the SAT is a paper-based exam. That's why we give you a full set of materials that work in conjunction with the Online SAT Course.
A set of five practice exams drives both our live and online courses. Realistic practice is the single largest factor in score improvement. Where available, students should take exams in a realistic proctored setting that simulates the real thing. Elsewhere, students can take exams on their own, but should similate true exam conditions as much as possible.
Students send answer sheets to us to receive detailed performance analysis and personalized online Mentor Sessions that walk through every question answered incorrectly.
This course takes advantage of the latest internet technologies, so you will need:
- A broadband internet connection (DSL, cable, or better)
- A modern web browser (the course is guaranteed to work in Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer 6 or 7)
A note to Windows users: we recommend both Firefox and Safari over Internet Explorer. They are both free, fast, and excellent.
