College application process

Did you know? More than 85% of colleges accepting the Common Application require students to submit SAT or ACT scores.

There are several important questions that students should try to answer when beginning the application process. Which schools should I to apply to? Different elements such as size, location, degree options, etc. should be considered. While developing a list of possible schools, research what it takes to get in. Which standardized tests does the school require? What is the average GPA? Finally, students need to complete the application. Students must decide how to best present themselves by highlighting their achievements and extra-curricular activities and by writing a great essay. The essay is an opportunity to stand out from the crowd.
