Get the most out of your SAT Subject Tests
SAT subject tests are required at competitive colleges, and recommended at many others. Are you ready for your SAT IIs?

Jason is an SAT II pro.

SAT IIs are even more competitive than the SAT.

The exam room at your child’s SAT subject tests will be filled with high-achieving students – students applying to competitive colleges. That means the scoring will be more competitive, and the score you need for college applications will be more difficult to achieve. Taking the subject class in school isn’t enough – make sure your child is prepared for their SAT II exams.

Get started 100% risk-free.

We promise your Revolution tutor will be the best private tutor you’ll ever work with, or you won’t pay a cent. We’re so confident in the quality of our full-time tutors, that if you decide to cancel for any reason within your first 30 days, it’s free.

Our approach to SAT Subject Test Prep

Be strategic

Is your child taking any AP tests? Taking the corresponding SAT II test as close as possible to the AP exam will help to maximize study efforts for both tests. We can help with APs, too. If you’re taking a language SAT II, make sure you’ve had at least two years of study. For other subjects, it’s a good idea to take the tests as soon as your child is ready. If they are taking biology in their freshman year, they should plan to take the SAT II at the end of that year.

Know the material inside out

As opposed to the more analytical approach of AP exams, SAT subject tests focus on fact-based questions covering a broad survey of the topic. Understanding the details and significance of key events of United States history, French language vocabulary, or the periodic table will better prepare a student for each particular exam. Our Professional Tutors will help to influence study habits and connect the material to your child’s interests to make studying less of a chore.

Make the grade

While preparing for the SAT II, it can be easy to focus too much on the test and let grades slide. Your child’s GPA counts for 50% of their college application, and grades in AP classes are weighted even more. Your Revolution Pro Tutor will make sure your child stays on track in class while maximizing their score.
