Andrew holds a BS in Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience, and Psychology from CMU. While at University, he conducted independent research into the nematode germline, elucidating the role of oocyte ribonucleoprotein granule formation in response to stress. Andrew was also the fundraising chair of Beta Beta Beta, the national honors biological society. During his summers, he was employed by the Mobil Health Fair. As a member of the Mobil Health Fair, Andrew provided free health screening to low-income populations throughout the Midwest.
Andrew has been tutoring since high school, where he was a founding member of the peer tutoring program for high school and middle school students. While at University, Andrew worked as a supplemental instruction (SI) leader. As an SI leader, he hosted additional class time weekly, generating additional practice tests and supplementary work materials for any college-level students in BIO 110H or PSY 101. In high school he scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT and gained college credit for 7 AP tests. As a tutor with Revolution Prep, Andrew has hundreds of tutoring hours and experience. He has helped students succeed on the SAT, SAT Subject tests, ACT, AP tests, and in their high school classes.
