Morgan is an aspiring physicist currently pursuing doctoral studies in Physics and Science Education at the University of Iowa. His BS degrees in Mathematics and Physics were split between the University of Missouri and the University of Maryland, where he graduated magna cum laude and was nominated to receive the University Medal and deliver the speech at graduation. He has done theoretical research at the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and worked as a patent examiner for the US Patent and Trademark Office. Morgan spent two years teaching physics and chemistry classes at the university level, has tutored dozens of high school and college students individually in a wide range of subjects, and began teaching and tutoring SAT/ACT prep for Revolution in 2010. Morgan adores ideas, and absolutely loves to teach. He believes that his job as teacher is to help his students build meaningful new ideas out of what they already understand, and to have a good time in the act. He has been treated for ADD for about 30 years, and really enjoys helping students who struggle with attention, organization, study skills, and test anxiety. When he is not tutoring students, Morgan loves to write novels and poetry, bowl, bicycle, and seek out adventures.
