Sarah earned her Bachelor’s in English from Wellesley College, and went on to earn two Masters degrees- Classics from Vanderbilt and Ancient History from UC Berkeley. Sarah has a warm, witty, and structured approach to her work with students, leaving every student with a newly developed interest in learning and a deep respect for the process. She has achieved remarkable success with students looking to improve in all aspects of language – whether in English or foreign languages. While mastering mechanics is rewarding in its own right, examining themes in literature with students is also a particular area of interest for Sarah.
Sarah is skilled at explaining concepts in multiple ways depending on each student’s profile and learning style. She organizes the information to ensure maximum comprehension and retention for each of her students. Outside of her teaching pursuits, Sarah works as an artist in New Hampshire, and participates in street art festivals throughout the country. In addition to drawing and painting, she enjoys gardening, singing, dancing, and walks outside with her labrador retrievers, Guinevere, and Beowulf.
