Eamonn began his undergraduate work at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he regularly made the Dean's list. However, his love for maths compelled him to transfer to the University of Oregon, where he earned a B.S. in Mathematics. In addition to teaching, Eamonn has also worked in industry for years, focusing on electronics, programming and rapid prototyping. Currently, he is pursuing his Master's in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington.
Eamonn takes a comprehensive and empathic approach with all of his students. His main focus is on isolating areas of opportunity in a student's approach or methodology. Then, through a careful combination of nurturing, humor, demonstration and practice, he helps his students overcome these challenges to become stronger, more independent learners. Eamonn has worked with hundreds of students from varying backgrounds, and he excels with high school and college age students. Eamonn has a very warm, but commanding approach to instruction. His emphasis on a comprehensive understanding of the material, clarity, and practice serves his students well. Parents love the amazing results Eamonn is able to help his student achieve. Students feel an increased ease in their ability to tackle new material on their own.
